About the Network

Technothusiasts is Seattle’s Premier Geek Podcast Network, founded by Jadon Parker and Heru Amon in August of 2009.  Our inspiration came from podcast pioneer Leo Laporte.  Heru and Jadon were already “geeking out” on all sorts of subjects.  We decided to just throw a mic on our conversations and Technothusiasts was born!

Originally just a podcast about tech news, quickly we had a desire to podcast more and several other podcasts were born about fitness, gadgets, software, hardware, tech support, mobile apps, and more.  However, we quickly realized that just the two of us couldn’t do a great job of producing all the podcasts ourselves so we suspended most of the podcasts and only focused on a few.  We hope bring all the podcasts back (and more!) with new hosts and new content in the future.

What makes Technothusiasts different than other podcasts?  Well, to put it simply, other podcasts don’t have Jadon and Heru!  Our personalities is what makes us different.  Our main goal is to deliver you unbiased news, tips, support and more for everyday people, just like us.  We are extremely passionate about what we do and you will hear it in our podcasts.  We are always continuing to get better and better at what we do.  We’d love to have you a part of the ride so come join us!
